We cracked open a bottle of 16-year old Merlot tonight. In the wise words of Tim, "This wine could drive."
It was (is) a sensational bottle of wine, full of history and character, balanced and easy to drink, supple and mysterious (how's that for a description?)...and we'd like to credit Tim's father for leaving in his wake a remarkably nice wine collection. We miss you, DEL 2. Wish you were here to share it with us.
