We went to Sacramento for a long weekend. It was a great trip; we visited with family and friends, played at Grandad Dennis's yard sale, had a party, went for a bike ride, had good beer at Track 7, and even withstood the heat!

Inspired Desperation Pizza

Indian flatbread (naan); tomato paste mixed with olive oil, 

herbs, salt, pepper, garlic and a pinch of sugar; 

cut-up string cheese; some grated cheddar and parmesan; 

and a can of black olives from pantry;

baked at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes

Score: Surprisingly delicious!

We spent St. Paddy's Day at Edgefield. Miriam was a happy wee leprechaun in her green Converse.

Other March highlights included a trip from Ang & Co., Liz's birthday dinner at Olympic Provisions (stellar!), warm and sunny weather, March Madness and breaking ground in the garden.
Miriam currently enjoys climbing anything and everything, splashing around in water and eating pasta.
