Lobster Corndogs

Yup, we did it. We made lobster corndogs (topped with lemon aioli, paprika and parsley) to thank my parents for all of their generosity...outstanding.

You know what's even more scrumptious than lobster corndogs? Miriam.

Stout

Roscoe's 3rd Annual Stout Summit

We discovered that our neighborhood taproom, Roscoe's, holds a stout summit each February. What a gem.
Highlights included the very well-balanced Suge Knight by Boneyard Brewing (Bend, OR) and the Chocolate Stout by Upright Brewing (Portland, OR). Hellshire III from Oakshire (Eugene, OR) was reminiscent of a chocolate fountain soda, in a comforting gone-back-to-childhood way.
The Italian sour stout, aptly named My Blueberry Nightmare Sour - tasted like vinegar - disgusting! North Coast's (California) Barrel-aged Old Rasputin XV was too sugary sweet for my blood although our neighbor is a big fan.
We walked home under a clear starry sky, bellies full of stout and eyes full of twinkles.

Bunnies and Throne

Miriam feeds our neighbors' bunnies

Our stroller is parked in our living room; she's been treating it like a throne.
She reads books in it, takes her snack in it.

We've been out of bloglandia lately, due to various injuries and illnesses.
